Rally at Remillard Park in Larkspur between 6pm and 7pm
March to San Quentin along East Sir Francis Drake Blvd.
DOWNLOAD FLYER: Adobe PDF version, Word version.
We'll keep fighting for Kevin Cooper's life up until the last moment. The best way to keep the pressure on is to let the prison officials and the governor know that we will march, we will be heard, and we will let the world know that we will not sit idly by while an innocent man is strapped down and legally lynched.
Protest at the East Gate of San Quentin Begins at 8pm
To come directly to the San Quentin protest at the East Gate, follow the same driving instructions as for the march and park on Francisco Blvd.

Close up map of San Quentin

Remillard Park is located at the eastern edge of Larkspur, next to the Ferry Terminal on East Sir Francis Drake Blvd. See the close up map of Larkspur. To join the march, please park on Francisco Blvd near San Quentin where there will be designated street and off-street parking. We will organize car pools from there to Remillard Park. Or you can walk along the bike route on East Sir Francis Drake Blvd into Larkspur from the San Quentin side (it should take you about 15 or 20 minutes to walk). To get to Francisco Blvd (which runs parallel, right beside), take your first exit off the Richmond Bridge if you're coming from Richmond, the exit is not clearly marked on the 'General Area' map above, but it is located just above the 'Q' in 'San Quentin.' If you're coming from the Golden Gate Bridge or Marin, exit the last exit on 580 marked San Quentin before getting on the Richmond Bridge. There is also very limited public parking in Larkspur near the Ferry Terminal.
If you put the Larkspur close up map on the left and the San Quentin map on the right, you get a full, close up map of the march route.
Please note, that San Quentin is not ideally laid out for marching and protesting, so come early and dress warmly as it can get VERY cold at night.
